Thanks again for all the awesome engagement, input and support during the CrowdOutAIDS process! If you haven’t checked out the full strategy yet, you can download it here.
We’re happy to introduce to you Brian Kanaahe, who was selected following a public call for a young qualitative researcher on the CrowdOutAIDS blog.
Brian will present a more detailed analysis of the Open Forum discussions in a thematic session at UNAIDS highest governing body, the UNAIDS Programme Coordinating Board (PCB). He will also report to you via the CrowdOutAIDS blog during the PCB that will take place 5-7 June, 2012 in Geneva. You can follow Brian’s work on Twitter here.
Next steps We are now working hard to align ourselves to the strategy recommendations and put the team together that will implement it. We will be providing regular updates on the work via @CrowdOutAIDS so if you have any questions or suggestions (or just want to say hi) tweet us!
Opportunities
There will be various opportunities to volunteer with the CrowdOutAIDS project in the next few months. If you are interested, send an email with your CV and a cover letter explaining what part of the strategy you would be most interested in contributing to, to ngl@unaids.org.
